Consisting of one year of preparation and one year of hosting, the Seoul Biennale, which is held every two years (odd years), will mark its fifth anniversary next year and its 10th year in operation, starting with the first hosting in 2017. In order to be reborn as a platform that shares the future vision of Seoul with the world, seeks innovative solutions to common urban problems, and provides new perspectives, the 5th Seoul Biennale aims to provide a place to experience and communicate a wide range of expertise and artistry that extends not only to urban architecture but also to the areas of design and various cultures.
