T13 Residual Heritage

A.CO.LAB
T13 Residual Heritage
This Wall explores Korean religious architecture. Traditionally, temples and pavilions were built on rock cliffs using Obansaek (The Five Colors). This facade is made of Hanji soaked in soybean oil in the shape of a rock face in Yosemite National Park, and an Obansaek rose window reminiscent of stained glass in Western cathedrals.
