The Open Art Storage is a shared archive for the Seoul Museum of Art, Craft Art, and History. More than a storage space, it's a dynamic civic space for residents and visitors. Located at Seoripul Park, next to the performance art center, it transforms Seocho into a cultural hub.
Its pyramidal glass structure atop mineral blocks and garden creates a prominent landmark. The garden serves as an outdoor space and park entry. A new path connects it to the park, integrating nature, culture, and urban life.
On the ground floor, rock-like blocks house a cafe, larchiveum, and art handling. Open spaces offer views and are open to the garden. This accessible civic place functions as the heart of the building.
