A large puddle discovered by the artist while walking through the city
features traces of tire tracks over which weeds grow thick. Blue Water
expresses the artist’s perspective on the process by which nature flows
back into the occupied land of humans; water seeps into the cracks of
their indifference, and weeds begin growing in those cracks.
Artist Hyungjin Park draws to record the scenery she encounters every
day. Park received a bachelor's, master's degree, and Ph.D. at Sungshin
Women's University Oriental Painting Department. She has held seven solo
exhibitions, including 'Other Times Another Time'(Gyeonggi Museum of
Modern Art, Ansan, 2022), 'Crow and Magpie'(Sahngup Gallery, Euljiro,
