When the inequality of the cost is discovered, it finds an elusive and less obvious resource that becomes abundant as money becomes scarce: a dark resource. Dark resources are available assets that meet needs. They come from unconventional sources and out-of- the-market policies. However, they are not extraordinary but accessible every day. Solidarity and the willingness to change can become crucial assets to make the project happen. Before COVID-19, the world was taking many things for granted. The pandemic showed us how fragile the equilibrium of our capitalist society is. After one year, the world has survived with difficulty; maybe it is time to put more attention on the everyday dark resources.
