ZITA, S+A The installation emulates the layered history and future of the industrial zone in Bogota as geological strata, where the soil is replaced by food, textile, metal, plastic, and paper; the materials that led the industry throughout the decades. Each level is separated by metal sheets etched with information pertaining to the evolution of the industrial zone and topped off by a layer presenting its imagined future. Operated by an industrial gantry, the piece is dynamic, everchanging, and ultimately becomes an oversized experiential book.
