Danilo Dangubic Architects The installation displays architectural models bridging ground, sub-ground, and tunnel. It is a catalogue of possibilities investigating the potential of the underground. The artwork responds to the project for a 2km-long tunnel below the old Belgrade's urban tissue. The focus is on proposing subterranean structures while recognizing the potentials in city planning in layers above it. Architectural models are created for various surface conditions and are organized based on inherited surface condition, the spatial organization they address, and infused program. Therefore, the display frame is defined by the crossroads of these three axes. The installation is a collection of ideas that aims to become a tool for public discourse on the resilient city of tomorrow.
