a three-way dialogue: communities and solidarity in flux

“a three-way dialogue" is a three-part project: an exhibition of a multi-screen video/voice installation; a mobile performance; a panel talk of artists and architects from the three communities in three cities of three countries. This three-part project attempts to initiate an immersive three-way dialogue among three diverse communities to create a new and broader narrative on the coexisting old and new communities in Seoul, South Korea, in its spatial relationship and unique position of the current rapid transitioning state of flux.

As a part of the project, the panel talk, 'Communities and Solidarity in Flux' constitutes an introduction and further critical look at contemporary communities and its structures; how art and architecture negotiate in its creative process and finally in its search for solidarity as communities continue to move spatially, timely and emotionally. Artists, architects, designers, urban planners and film-makers from three communities in Seoul, Hamburg and Bhubaneswar come together to share their multiple approaches and narratives.
