Civil Politics and the Right to the City

In Korean society, the story about the city is growing, but the grammar of the story is mainly made through administration or market. How can citizens unfold their own stories, and how can citizens at the plaza make their own political grammar? The slogan of the medieval free city, 'The City Will Make You Free', is hardly relevant in a modern metropolis. How can you create a city where citizens can exercise their rights as citizens? What sort of reality would be revealed if the citizens' grammar is used to dissect the current city? Answers to these questions are explored jointly.
